LOCAL CELEBRITIES WHO THINK THEY CAN DANCE
Six local Carson City celebreties will be competing against each other in a Dancing With the Stars type contest at the High Sierra Swing Dance Club's sixth annual anniversary gala dinner/dance on April 27th at the Carson City Nugget. The contestants have been paired with local dance instructors and will be doing a variety of dances including swing, country, latin, and hip hop. The instructors are: JoAnn Grace, Rainer Herm, Emily Thicke, Armando Nevarez, Earl Case, and Bob Truesdale .
The fun filled evening will include a full buffet dinner, the contest, a performance by Susan Brown and Jeffrey Munson, and open dancing into the evening. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased by April 20th. It is a semi-formal or formal attire event. No tickets will be sold at the door.
